OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

OpenStudy (sriram):

i feel B is right

OpenStudy (sriram):

coz median is smth that occurs max times n smth wud have occured more than once n as 3 and 15 are comin for the first time they wont affect the median

OpenStudy (sriram):

as they are outside the previous ranges the change the max and min

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

you have convinced me

OpenStudy (sriram):

i m not so sure about lower quartile n stuff

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

are the quartiles just the ranges of that quater of data?

OpenStudy (sriram):

cmon wowtop say smth

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

actually the whiskers only include most of the data. the outliers aren't necessarily between the whiskers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are 2 quartiles. One is lower quartile and another one is upper q. The lower one is the one that have a small number and upper is the one that have a big number. They split the quartiles by the median. Lower is on the left side and upper is on the right side.
