What is the equation of the graph below? y = –2(x – 3)^2 + 1 y = –2(x + 3)^2 + 1 y = 2(x – 3)^2 + 1 y = 2(x + 3)^2 + 1

alright, well if you look at the equations, it's written in vertex form, which is y = a(x-h)^2+k where your vertex is (h,k) your vertex on the graphs is (3,1) so plug that in and you have y=a(x-3)^2+1 then, the graph is facing downwards, so you know that a must be negative so you get the first choice is the right answer
