It's from Shakespeare's Sonnet 18, "Shall I Compare thee to a Summer's Day?" and is an example of alliteration, the repetition of initital or beginning consonant sounds: "long", "lives", "life" & "this", "this", "thee". Alliteration is a special type of consonance, a term which refers to the repetition of consonant sounds within, as well as at the beginning and ending, of words.
