could i add a picture of a graph here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes whats the slope of thes line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Notice the two dots are at the coordinates: (0,3) and (1,0). Remember that slope is often remembereed as "rise over run" or; \[m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\]Where m is the slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yea could you plug em in for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its very simple, you just subtract the y-values of each point and the x-values of each point, so you have the "change in y" and the "change in x". Then you simply divide the change in y over the change in x.

oh ok thankk you
