Describe, how materials move in and out of cells

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um active transport, passive transport, and endocytosis. do you know how those work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi Nramos. as bngaure said there are alot of transport. And its pretty hard to explain in one sentence. going out is endocytosis, and using all kinds of transportations active, passive... the vesicels go through the ER's and then go through this protein syntnthesis thing on the lipid biyalar (which is the cell membrane) and then it depends on the outside of the cell and inside ratio and then ATP or other energy helps these vesicels to get dumped out of the cell.

Those answers above and through a cell membrane. With water, it's through a selectively-permeable membrane. The membrane has small openings that open/close to choose which materials it'll bring in such as water and sunlight.
