Is this correct usage? "How did your test go? "

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Usage of what? Everything looks right, to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use either how was your test? or how did your test go?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did notice you have a space after the question mark, and before the quotation mark. There should not be a space there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I meant to say that do native speakers speak like that? As in do they ask their friends about the test like that or how do the native speakers say? Is this all correct? PS: Nothing to do with the punctuation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, we say it like that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the correct usage can be : how was your test?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"How was your test?" is not native. That would be Latin. "How did your test go?" would be native. : )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks!

LOL @peeps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha Yeah. :)
