Which bones and tissues are involved in riding a bike?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The primary tissues/muscles used in biking are the gluteal muscles, quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles. The bones that you use in your Forearm contains two bones called the Radius and the Ulna. And also the bones that you use in youe leg are called your Femur, Tibia, Fibula, Patella. Those are the types of bones and tissues you use to ride a bike! .

Thanks! Do these bones (Femur, tibia, fibula, ulna, radius, patella) have any connecting ligaments, tendons, or "helper joints" that are also involved?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well yes one between the Tibia and the Femur and another between the Femur and the patella. The joint is located in the knee called the trocho-ginglymus. The knee joint joins the thigh with the leg and consists. This permints flexion and extension.

Now in the arm the majior joints that are in the forearm is called the radioulnar joint. The radioulnar joint is a combination of three joints located at the wrist, elbow and in between the ulna and the radius bones.
