What is the slope of ( 0, 3) (-2, 0)

Parth (parthkohli):

If you look straight, x is changing by -2. And, y is changing by -3. Slope is supposed to be change in y over change in x.

Parth (parthkohli):

So, -3/-2.. this can be simplified don't count on that answer :P

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

You can use this formula to find the slope of a line passing through two points (x1,y1) & (x2,y2) \[\Large Slope = \frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}\]

Parth (parthkohli):

And then there's a formula that the teachers want. \( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow \Large Slope = {y_2 - y_1 \over x_2 - x_1} }\)
