The cofunction of sin 25 degrees is sec 65 degrees....true or false?? Can someone please explain this question and how to get the answer and what steps to follow?? Please and thank you! :)
sec?
yeah sec....I have a sheet with al the equations attached if that helps...?
sec=secant if that helps?
Yeah i figured that out. We've never used sec, csc or cot ever lol.
But Ill try to do this, wait a sec
lol yeah I'm in Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus and it's deff pushing me....I think the answer may be false but I'm not positive.
Here in finnish high schools we have different system and we had the trig course few months ago, and the more advanced trig is coming after calculus n stuff
I'm assuming that they ask if sin(25)=sec(65) ?
It doesn't seem like you can find a cofunction between sin and sec. I can find a confunction between sin and cos, sec and csc, and tan and cot. & yeah I'm in my senior year (I do online school) and Trig is super easy in areas but then confusing in others.... And the question is "The confunction of sin 25 (then the degree symbol) is sec 65 (degree symbol). True or False?"
I say false
Yeah that's what I'm thinking.....it'd be my like that it's some trick question!! Oh well, whatever! Thanks for trying to help me out! :)
no problem :)
