All you have to do is what I told you above list the elements that are in A then list the elements that are in B

that is one element in A you need to list all of the elements that are in A then also list all the elements that are in B But if a number occurs more that once well you only need to write each number once

A={0,1,2,3} and B={0,5,9,10} A U B = { the elements that are in A or the elements that are in B } A U B ={ 0 , 1 , 2, 3 , 0 , 5 , 9 , 10} But look you don't need to write 0 twice A U B ={ 0 , 1 , 2, 3 , 5 , 9 , 10}

I just wrote the elements that are in A then I wrote the elements that are in B Now pretend our universe was C={0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10} And we wanted to find (A U B)'

in your question C is the universe and M and I are subsets here in the example I gave C is still the universe where A and B are subsets of that universe

Well I'm not going to give you the answer. One of the points of OpenStudy is to teach/learn. Giving the answer does not do that. It is against the Code of Conduct to just seek answers and to give them.
