Write a compound inequality to represent all of the numbers between -4 and 6. I dont understand this...

compound means it is joined by the word "and"... so you want all the numbers between these two numbers so you can have: x > -4 and x < 6.... there is a way to write this out into one statement: -4 < x < 6
