The manager of a four-screen movie theater is deciding which of 12 available movies to show. The screens are in rooms with different seating capacities. How many ways can he show four different movies on the screens?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he can choose from 12. he can show 4. therefore use 12!/(12-4)!

assume tht these r four screens

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now u take the first screen, u can show any movie out of 12? so no of choices =12 for the first screen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now for the second screen there are how many choices???? 11(y?--- bcoz 1 movie is been shown in screen1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

similarly for screen 3 the chices is 10 nd for screen 4 the choices r 9
