Sketch the graph of the following exponential function: f(x) = 2x - 2 + 2

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

where's the exponent? this looks linear to me, unless that's a \((2^x -2 + 2)\) or \((2^{x-2} + 2)\) --> which one?

OpenStudy (precal):

maybe it is the second one why would we put -2+2

OpenStudy (precal):

All it says is that and has 4 multiple choice questions with xy graphs..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not questions, I meant answers...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Apoorvk: It's the 1st.

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Okay, then \(2^x - 2 + 2 = 2^x\) ----> right?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

any idea what an 'exponentially increasing' curve looks like? any old memories?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x)=x\[f(x)=2^{?}-2+2\]
