In the theory of relativity, what happens to m as v → c−?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m increases, so it takes more and more energy to increase in speed. Once you get really close to c it takes infinite amounts of energy to get to c which is why nothing can travel faster then c. The reason light travels at c is because it has no mass.
