myininaya (myininaya):

\[D=\sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2}\] \[\text{D is distance from } (x_1,y_1) \text{ and } (x_2,y_2) \]

If you show your work it's easier to see where you might have gone wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I did that part but I cant get the asnwer here is my problem: (-4-1)^2+(3-(-2))^2 -5^2+5^2 -25+25 0

OpenStudy (beginnersmind):

(-5)^2=25 :)

myininaya (myininaya):

right you shouldn't have -5^2 it should be (-5)^2

OpenStudy (beginnersmind):

the rest is fine, just don't forget to take the square root at the end as in @myininaya's formula
