Science also uses a great deal of Latin within its terminology, but yes, you're also right int pointing out that there's Greek influence there. Scientific names are sometimes a mix of Greek and Latin words. I also agree with military - many of its branches use Latin for military mottos, like the Marines who use "Semper Fi" which is short for "Semper Fidelis". So there's some influence there. You'll also find a lot of Latin influence in the Common Law terminology used in the West with terms like "affidavit", "habeas corpus", and "pro forma" only being a few examples.
