what is the incenter of a triangle and where can the incenter be located in relation to the triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the incenter of a triangle is the point at which the angle bisectors intersect. In other words, if you draw lines which bisect the three angles of a triangle, the point where they all come together is the incenter. (actually you only need to do this with two of the angles, since any two of the angle bisectors intersect at the incenter.) The perpendicular distance from the incenter to any side is the radius of the triangle.
