What are exclusions in Algebra II ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm assuming that you're talking about rational expressions? In rational expressions, exclusions are values that would make the denominator undefined. In other words, values that would make the denominator equal 0. These values are also missing from the graphs of their respective rational expressions.

can you give an example please??

Alright. \[\frac{x + 3}{x - 3} = \frac{2x}{x - 3}\]An exclusion is x ≠ 3
