how do I determine quadratic function f whose vertex is (-1,2) and passes thru (3,6)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-1,-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know about derivatives yet? If not, you will have to use the standard formulas for the Vertex

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I have no clue

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good let me start like this, the general way how to describe a quadratic equation looks like \[ ax^2+bx + c \] where a, b and c are the coefficients. So you see you need three statements to define that parabola.

Two you can easily state already.

Do you know how to state the definitions?
