ok thats rise/run
or the algebraic formula is
\[m = \frac{y _{2} - y _{1}}{x _{2} - x _{1}}\]
select (2, -2) as the 2 point and (0, 3) as the 1 point
then substituting
\[m = \frac{ -2 -3}{2 - 0}\]
just simplify
OpenStudy (anonymous):
am i right -2

is it -2

find slope
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I think you did the difference in x divided by the difference in y...it's the other way around. -2 is not right.
@campbell_st...you misread the numbers.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
2
OpenStudy (campbell_st):

\[\frac{ -2 -3}{2 - 0} = ?\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
is it 2
