What are the zeros of the polynomial function: f(x) = x3 + x2 - 20x ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, for one, you can set the equation to 0. Then you'll need to factor. There's something quite nice you can factor out. Do you know what it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5 and -4 :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so -5 and 4? lol ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait, wait, wait...you're not quite done. What you factored was x^2 + x - 20...but that's not quite the equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(although your two answers are right! There's one more though.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i know lol i guess i just had a brain fart haha ty
