What are some really good piano pieces for an intermediate player? I'm really into music from the baroque and classical eras. :)
Baroque: Highly recommend Bach's preludes and fugues, toccatas (higher level) Scarlatti has some very nice sonatas too. Some of Haydn's earlier sonatas can be considered to be Baroque too. Classical: Heaps of piano sonatas for you to choose, from Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven; if you are daring you could play some of Schubert's sonatas too. Try learning a number of sonatas at a time, it will improve your sight-reading too. Sheet music? Get it at www.imslp.org
Some extremely popular music are: Mozart's Sonata in C K545, Mozart's Alla turka, Beethoven's Fur Elise, Beethoven's Moonlight sonata. Not exactly sure what your standard is, so not sure if you have played these before
I have played some of the one you mentioned, but I will definitely look into the other ones. Thanks for your suggestions!
Search up on google, " Belwin Master solos" They have great solos, like since I play the trombone, I got a great in Intermediate solo. And when I learned it for NYSSMA, I ended up getting a 26/28 on it
Like, for example, in each book they have about two pieces that are baroque or classical, and many others.
Thanks I'll check them out. :)

@rebeccaaskell94
canon hah lol
Lol.
When i intered the Nationl guild I played mostly Sonatas and Nocturnes. Nocturnes by Chopin are the most beuatiful pieces to play on piano at night when there is a part or gathering.
