what are coplanar points and noncollinear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

??????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They're point which are all on the same line, it only works for liner curves (straight lines) Say for the equation (in the form y=mx+c) y=x+1 the points (-1,0) (0,1) (3,4) are all collinear points

hero (hero):

Coplanar Points = Points on the same plane Collinear Points = Points on the same line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

soo the coplanar points don't have to have a line drawen like this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with points

hero (hero):

That would be a line, not a plane

OpenStudy (anonymous):

soo just some points on a plane

hero (hero):

A plane acts like more of a surface and the coplanar points do not have to be collinear.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay got it thank you =)
