Can hydrobromic acid be a valid chemical formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Definitely, why can't it not be? You can write it as HBr. H-Hydrogen Br-Bromine

am confunsed bacause they are asking me Which of the following is not a name of a valid chemical formula? hydrobromic acid ammonium nitrate aluminum (III) chloride copper (II) oxide and all of them seem to be valid xD! HEHE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, if you were to write out all the formulas: Hydrobromic Acid -- HBr Ammonium Nitrate -- NH4NO3 Copper (II) Oxide - CuO I am guessing that the answer would be Aluminum (III) Chloride. Al only has one charge (+3), it seems redundant to state that it's III.

oh right I forgot to looks at the charge of Aluminum hhehe thanks!
