Seriously, though, you need to look up a diagram of the life cycle and ideally a description of what happens where and when. Wikipedia would be a good resource, and I strongly suspect that if you're being asked questions like this, you already have a book, lecture slides, or some other resource that contains this information.

There are SO MANY resources. All of this is on Wikipedia, and you'll find it in any botany textbook as well (with life cycle diagrams).
