how would you solve: 100=200e^(0.06x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100=200e^(0.06x)--> Divide both sides by 200 to get the e^(0.06x) by itself. 100/200=e^(0.06x)--> Take the natural log of both sides. It will "cross out" with e on the one side. ln(100/200)=0.06x--> Then just divide by 0.06 to isolate x [ln(100/200)]/0.06=x Finished plug in a calculator for and an approxamation or just leave it as exact answer!
