I'm trying to get a better understanding of "privilege of inclusiveness over exclusiveness" in the HIP idea. (HIP= Human Intention and Perception). Anyone help?
I don't think this is a music question, but a social science question. Am I correct?
No, it's Music 108. Book is called World Music by Michael Bakan
Hmm interesting. I remember learning about this is social sciences. Well here's this, link: http://www.sklatch.net/thoughtlets/identity.html Everything is written out pretty simply.
*in social sciences
Wao @rebeccaskell94
Thanks, that won't help. This has to do with HIP in music where sounds and silences are dealing with inclusiveness over exclusiveness but I'm not sure about how they fit.
Okay, hold on!
Michael's website has a vitae and other information but nothing that I can find on HIP idea.
Looks like this isn't going anywhere. I'll keep trying to google my answer.
Here!
look at slide 15
@rebeccaskell94 i agree with your answer
@Dled did that help you?
No because that's exactly what the book says. It's ok. I'll just memorize the definition. I was just wanting clarification.
Sorry, Dled. :/
No worries. Thanks.
