x-4/4+3x+5/2=12
(X-4)/(4+3X)+5/2=12 2(X-4)+5(4+3X)/2(4+3X)=12 2(X-4)+5(4+3X)=12*2(4+3X) SOLVE IT FURTHER BY YOURSELF. . .
@theyatin, how do you know the fraction isn't: \(\large\frac{x-4}{4} + \frac{3x+5}{2} = 12\)
thats how is is written in the lesson
See why it is important to use parentheses?
well i used my own perception if she would not be satisfied with my answer she wil post it again :P
thank you my hero :*
Yeah, and perception doesn't always work with these kinds of problems.
i appreciate your help theyatin.
@hannah2013, how did he help you? The problem wasn't set up correctly.
anytime hennah antway now problem is even easier. . . just multiply both sides with 4
Actually, just multiply the second fraction by 2/2
Then add the fractions and cross multiply
\(\frac{x-4}{4} +\frac{6x + 10}{4} = 12\)
\(\frac{7x +6}{4} = 12\)
7x + 6 = 48
LOL do it as hero says . . . *off*
7x = 42 x = 42/7 x = 6
Thank you both.
I would have been able to help @theyatin as well if he knew how to use latex
aaal credit goes to "hero" very bad @hannah2013 dont thanz me at all. . .
at least you both were nice enough to help.
@theyatin , it's always good to know what the problem is before you start helping. That's what I was trying to do yesterday. I was trying to get you to post the problem correctly so that I could help you.
thanx darling you are such a help. . .
