I would like to learn how to develop mobile applications for iPhone. Since I do not have any technical development background I would like to know if MIT 6.00 could be a good start and what would be the right learning path to it.

Technically, the language you will learn in this class (Python) is not the language used to develop iOS applications (objective C). Nonetheless, this class is extremely helpful in teaching you how to think computationally and use object-oriented programming, which is an important skill for any programming language you use. Stanford offers a free online course specifically for developing iPhone apps, but I think the course implies that its students have at least a little experience with programming. This course requires no prior experience. I'm about 2/3 of the way through this course, and then I plan on moving on to the Stanford class on iPhone app development.

I started watching the first video and I realized that Python is not the language for developing iOS applications as well.
