Do you want to solve for x ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how do you graph it
mathslover (mathslover):
k wait let me draw it
mathslover (mathslover):
if x = 1 then .. y = ? can u tell me this first ?
mathslover (mathslover):
@ivandelgado just put x =1 and then solve for y ..what r u getting ?

idk ?
mathslover (mathslover):
ok .. no problem :
given that -4x+3y =6 ..
we put x = 1
-4(1)+3y=6
-4 + 3y=6
3y = 6+4
3y = 10
y = \(10\over 3\)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
can you draw me a pic of it
mathslover (mathslover):
@ivandelgado u mean that u want answer not solution right ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i just need to know how to graph it that it

see what i am doing will lead u to the answer please wait
mathslover (mathslover):
put x = 3
\[\large{-4(3)+3y=6}\]
\[\large{-12+3y=6}\]
\[\large{3y=6+12}\]
\[\large{3y=18}\]
\[\large{y=\frac{18}{3}}\]
\[\large{y=6}\]
mathslover (mathslover):
hence when x = 3 then y = 6
similarly when x =6 we have :
\[\large{-4(6)+3y=6}\]
\[\large{-24+3y=6}\]
\[\large{3y=30}\]
\[\large{y=\frac{30}{3}}\]
\[\large{y=10}\]
mathslover (mathslover):
hence when x =6 , y= 10
now we will draw the graph
