I need help putting the following history leaders in order from least democratic to most democratic Plato, Aristotle, Queen Elizabeth I, Mary Wollstonecraft, Baron de Montesquieu, King Louis XIV, Thomas Hobbes, & John Locke. I've done everything besides this, I don't really understand.

OpenStudy (vortish):

Plato and Aristotle were roman and they had a form of democracy and queen Elizabeth was the queen of a constitutional monarchy king Louis was a french monarch the baron was french and the other two im not so sure about

OpenStudy (dominusscholae):

Wollstonecraft was a feminist; Plato and Aristotle(Plato's student) were GREEK, and greek democracies back in the ancient era only gave rights to male citizens. Thomas Hobbe thought man was naturally evil and needed to give his freedom to a single leader. John Locke believed that governments should be made and replaced on the satisfaction of people. Montesquieu came up with the federal structure of government America has adopted and was fascinated with democracy, but was a French aristocrat and thought that American individualism was to some extent, deleterious to order and thought that a certain powerful elite should "oversee" civil affairs. To be honest, this is a really subjective question (I think the question was asking your opinion), but I'm going to give MY opinion (this is not the UNIVERSAL ANSWER): Wollstonecraft>John Locke>Baron de Montesquieu>Plato=Aristotle>Queen Elizabeth>King Louis XIV>Thomas Hobbe
