Why don't we look at the assumptions we are making first?
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
Then, use the equations from physics (kinetic energy) you have learned and apply them to figure out the energy that went from kinetic to heating up the brakes. Finally, use the specific heat capcity equations to figure out the temperature of the brakes.
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
Note that you have not been given the specific heat capacity of iron here, so you will need to find it somehow.

Kinematics is not to be used
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
Eh. Then I don'tknow. @lgbasallote , why don't you try.

i dont even know kinematics o.O
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
Igbiw, stop trolling.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
It is not to do with kinematics
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
What are we supposed to use?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
That is the problem see, no idea

We can't use kinematics but we dont' know what we are supposed to use?
