I will be your slave if you can answer these questions: Toss a coin 200 times. Record the heads and tails as you toss. What were the number of heads after: 10 tosses? 50 tosses? 100 tosses? 200 tosses?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10-4

OpenStudy (ash2326):

@pleaaaaaase you don't to be our slave, we'll be happy to help you anyways

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im flipping like crazy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

50-27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100-78

OpenStudy (anonymous):

200-129

OpenStudy (ledah):

Dylan. Let's not try to give out answers only.. students need guidance to the correct answer. and you haven't guided this one. at all. Please put an explanation as to what you did to get those answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All you have to do is flip a coin?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

@pleaaaaaase the probability of getting heads in one toss is \[\frac{1}{2}\] that means if I toss the coin 10 times, theoretically it's possible that I'll get 5 times coin. But if we perform this experiment we may get anything between 3-7 that's just an educated guess.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much. You are a hero amongst men.

OpenStudy (ledah):

Look what ash did. That's a proper explanation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! It all makes sense now!

OpenStudy (ash2326):

so if you don't have to specifically toss the coin practically, we do know that 100 times is a humongous task :P so just stick around half the no. of tosses and that'd be a good answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know Which of the following surveys would be most random concerning a school issue? surveying everyone at school surveying students only surveying teachers only

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait, so it's 1/2?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

nope, 1/2 the no. of tosses 10= any no. around 5 50= any no. around 25 and so on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is 4 correct?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

totally

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks I'm grasping it now.
