im guessing civil law...its makes the most sense, although i could be wrong
B. tort law. Common law is law that's not written down -- more or less tradition. Civil law concerns things like marriage and divorce, zoning, regulation of businesses, et cetera -- relations between the citizen and the state. Contract law concerns the enforcement of contracts, of course. Tort law concerns itself with injuries by one citizen of another that may be privately prosecuted -- that is, where one citizen can sue another for damages. You might think of tort law as being sort of like a private version of criminal law. Anything that is a crime is probably also a tort. If you kill someone wrongfully, you have committed both a crime and a tort, and you may be prosecuted by the state and also sued by the person or person wronged.
Definitely B. tort law
