Algebra 1 How would you write 0.3y + 1.2 = –0.4x in standard form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I am right, standard form means putting it all on one side so that there's 0 on the other side, do you know how to do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Standard Form for a linear equation in two variables, x and y, is usually given as Ax + By = C, so 0.3y + 1.2 = –0.4x in standard form would be 0.4x + 0.3y = -1.2
