What is the disjunction of the following two statements? Statement 1: Geometry is fun. Statement 2: The moon comes out at night.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

disjunction is or. so statement 1 or statement 2 i.e. Geometry is fun or the moon comes out at night.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is or?

What is inverse?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the inverse of a conditional statement p-->q is when you negate both the if and the then statements, i.e. ~p-->~q. So the inverse of if it is raining then the ground is wet would be if it is not raining then the ground is not wet. It is a fallacy to deduce the inverse of a conditional from the truth of that conditional.
