OpenStudy (ganpat):

what do u think 3 and multiple are overlapping or disjoined ??

OpenStudy (ganpat):

from the graph, it looks like 3 is marked on yellow.. right ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (ganpat):

so its overlapping.. and now going to probability question.. Probability for spinning a multiple of 3 ... The multiple of 3 in the graph are ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6?

OpenStudy (ganpat):

yup 3 & 6.. So event for 3 & multiple is 2 out of 6... and for yellow is 1 out of 6.. SO add this both the events... 2/6 + 1/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/6 1/6right ?

OpenStudy (ganpat):

actually... 3/6 = 1/2..

OpenStudy (ganpat):

hey u know, something looks wrong.. wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okkkk

OpenStudy (ganpat):

i guess, it should be just 2/6... as yellow is overlapping 3.. it is part of the same event.. So if u ask me, its 2/6 = 1/3.,..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you suree

OpenStudy (ganpat):

:D.. this was my try... not very sure..
