They generally bury it somewhere, I think. Nuclear waste is a huge problem with nuclear power stations, because they produce all this waste and then the waste has to be kept safe for a VERY long time so it doesn't contaminate the environment.

Natural gas does not produce greenhouse gases as other energy sources do. - CNG produces mostly just water and CO2, so definitely less harmful relatively.
