A=1/2aP solve for a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a = (2A)/P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks man but i need to show work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Step 1) Multiply both sides by 2. This cancels out the 1/2 on the right side. Step 2) Divide both sides by P. This cancels out the P being multiplied on the right side. Those are the only 2 steps.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thus you get: a = (2A)/P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks alot i appreciate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey u cant ask another question with out closing one right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem. Just mark a Best Response on this one, and I'll help you with another question in this same thread.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so i ask it here on these comments

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. Go ahead.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1343251792559:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide both sides by:\[\pi r ^{2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[{V \over \pi r ^{2}} = h\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow they seem so hard but that was easy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

may i ask u more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A=1/2bh\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's like the first one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do it the same way as the very first problem at the top.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply by two to each side? sorry im in ninth grade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then...??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 2A=bh right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then divide by B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Perfect job!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it looks similar to the first answer. h = (2A)/b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awesome!! thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have 4 questions left do u wish to help me or should i post it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u gave me a madal what does tht mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A medal means you provided a "Best Response" to a question - in this case, your own question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with this one > V=(1/3)pie r^2h solve for r
