The best way to remember how to add or subtract two fraction is as such: \[\huge {a \over b} \pm {c \over d} = {a*d \pm c*b \over b*d}\] Where a, b, c and d can be anything.

Does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lil bit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try computing it with what i gave you and post the answer you get.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH if it is confusing with that plus or minus sign there, it just means that if you are adding two factions, then you add in the numerator and vise verse.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@agentc0re i got 10x+7 over x^2+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kind of close.... Here i'll write out the equation you need okay, because you are fairly close. \[\huge {8(x+3) + 2(x+2) \over (x+2)(x+3)}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 10x+28 over x^2+6 @agentc0re

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But you didn't multiply it correctly. |dw:1343265587613:dw|
