Anyone know how to program?(:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which language?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know a bit about C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just programming in general I don't know anything about it to be honest but I want to learn how to program in Java and all that good stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know some c++ and vb.net , java is great language i recommend you to learn it ,which i will be doing soon ,i hope . java , c , c++ , vb.net or c# have similar syntax and general structure , once you learn one of them , the others will be easier to learn . youtube is full of tutorials that will help you a lot .

try watching videos in thenewboston.org

Python is an AMAZING language. Stop wasting your time and start coding by going through the tutorials and examples!!! and watch the videos!!!! BTW: WHERE IS VIDEO 4???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the difference of Python to the other ones?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You will get the response when you learn programming language, dont worry about the differences or performance at this step; I suggest you to learn C for basics programming technics (only the basics like variable déclaration, loop and fonction); After you pass to java for oriented object programming; I think that's we must persevere in one language better than learning superficially more language (I mean that's to be an expert in one language is beter than to be intermédiate in 4 or 5 or 10 language programming). good luck

maybe Python is an easy computer programming to start; look at this link from MIT OCW: ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00sc-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-spring-2011/ Good Luck

RE: LemuellPogi, The biggest difference I've found between Python and other languages such as , C, C+, C++, Matlab, COBOL, and other languages are following: 1) Simple to understand and program 2) It's a combination of all other languages 3) It has no limit In conclusion, with a basic understanding of concepts in programming with Python, you will be able to read and write in any other languages. That's the biggest advantage of learning Python. *Time is precious, use it wisely*

i know C++ , miKro C , arduino C , C chip , a bit about java and visual basic , but i hope for being professional at programming :\
