I am having trouble graphing linear equations solving for "y" first. Any help? Please...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-x+=-16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry. -x+4y=-16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to graph it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to find some points first i.e. (x,y) ordered pairs put y=0 and find the value of x and put x=0 and find the value of y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(16,0) and (0,-4) these are two points

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really appreciate your help. I had the (16,) but I had it (16, 1) duh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can check for more put x=1, (1,-15/4) ie (1,-3.75) similarly for y=1,we have (20,1) so all in all now we have four points...... (16,0) , (0,-4), (1,-15/4),(20,1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the 16 one put y=0 in the equation and find the value of x the tell me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay. hold on. brb

Had it right the first time and screwed it up. I am not very proficient in algebra. It's been a long time for me. thank you very much for your assistance. It and you are much appreciated! :-> <3
