How do i simplify this without using the 6 up in the Sqrt...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

64 is a multiple of 2 2*2*2*2*2*2 sixth root of 64 = 2 now you need to find 6th root of a^3 and b*3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i do that?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

you use one of exponent rules (x^a)^b = x^ ab 6th root as an exponent is 1/6 so 6th root of a^3 = a(3*1/6) = a^(1/2) in same way we get b(1/2)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

now put them together to get yur answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its like 2a^1/2b^1/2 or do i put a square root on that?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

luv your name!

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yea you got it

\o/

OpenStudy (anonymous):
