THIS WEBSITE IS NO HELP !!

OpenStudy (waheguru):

First of all did you even try to get any help from this website

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

A) you are not asking questions. B) you are closing your question and then posting the same one so fast that nobody could answer it if they wanted to. C) You need to read the OpenStudy Code of Conduct: http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i tried and no one bothered asking my question

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

Read the moderator warnings that you got and you will have the answer to why nobody is answering your questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well can you atleast answer my question here : can you pleaase Compare Odysseus' trait of pride to that of another person's pride, be it a fictional character or real-life person ?

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

No we cannot answer that question because that is your assignment. If we answered that question we would be doing it for you and that is cheating. Now you can ask a question about that assignment. What exactly are you having trouble with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the poem Odysseus

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

Well actually it's the Odyssey, but yes I gather that you are having trouble with that poem. But you are not being specific enough about what you are having trouble with. Did you read it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i read some of it but it didnt really make since and what im basically having trouble with what is the Odyssey trait of pride

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

I realize that the Odyssey is a hard read. It really is. It's long and does not use modern English so it can be hard to understand at some points, but you HAVE to read it to answer this question. Have you at least read far enough to have at least seen one example of Odysseus' pride? He is a very prideful character so you don't have to read far to find at least one example.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i'll read it over again and see if i can find on eexample . Thanks Alot :)

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

No problem. For this particular question you do not have to read the whole poem (but you should). You just need to get an idea of Odysseus' character as it relates to pride. Once you do that you can think of someone else ANYBODY REAL OR MADE UP who has a similar prideful personality and then compare that person to Odysseus with examples of things that he or she does that correlate to the things that Odysseus does.

. thanks again
