it's not gravity free space ...basically it uses the principle of free fall ..so by using free fall weightlessness is created that is called as microgravity (NASA) and there they are provided a proper training...

well just calculate how much distance will they travel in 5.18 seconds , it comes out to be 2315.6 meters or 7409 feet which is more than enough ..and may be they have some other strategies but for sure there is nothing like gravity free space on earth..

i know that there is no such anti-gravity things. they need to counter the effect of gravity in any way. I just want to know their strategy for this.

At Disney World, they have some sort of spinning machine (don't know how it works) that makes you feel weightless. Trippy + cool.
