If C = {integers divisible by 2 from 1 to 25} and D = {integers divisible by 6 from 1 to 30}, what is C ∩ D? { } {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 30} {6, 12, 18, 24, 30} {6, 12, 18, 24} i think its B but im not sure

OpenStudy (btaylor):

the intersection would be all integers between 1 and 25 that are divisible by 6. so it is C.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

choice C has the number 30 in it...but 30 is NOT in the set {integers divisible by 2 from 1 to 25}

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so it can't be choice C

OpenStudy (btaylor):

oops...D then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and one more whats a domain again?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

domain = set of all possible inputs to a function or relation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The domain of the following relation: R: {(3, 5), (8, 6), (2, 1), (8, 6)} is No domain exists {1, 5, 6} {3, 8, 2, 8} {2, 3, 8} so it would be c?

OpenStudy (btaylor):

the domain is all the x values. C has 8 twice, so I think it would be D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks
