A cylinder labeled X has a height of 10 inches and a radius of 15 inches. Another cylinder labeled Y has a height of 40 inches and a radius of 60 inches. The volume of cylinder Y is _______ times the volume of cylinder X.

OpenStudy (phi):

this is an important idea. If you scale the length, width and height by x, then the surface area will by x^2 bigger, and the volume will be x^3 bigger. Here your cylinder is 4 times bigger, so its volume will be 4^3 bigger

Hey, Thanks. How would I write that out?
