Make a scatterplot by plotting the given points. (7,4), (-2,5),(0,-8), (3,7).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just plot this like we did the last one. Only thing is, don't draw any lines, just draw points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do not understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you understand how we graphed the last question by drawing points and connecting those points with a line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but I do not know how to do it without the lne

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, then all you have to do is the same thing except you don't draw a line to connect all your points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can youshow me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why don't you show me what you think you need to do and i'll tell you if it's right or wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know where tostart

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That might be a good place to start right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do noknow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well look at the first point, (7,4). where would you put that? You can click the draw button and copy my drawing and then put the dot there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i triedit but howdo Ipt the points in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry but i don't know how to be any more clear than what i've already said. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yu are ok I guess I just not how t do the draw thing

hero (hero):

Hint: All you is plot the points. You know how to plot points, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

hero (hero):

To plot the points, find their location on a graph and pot a dot on it. For example, to plot the point (7,4), start at the origin and move 7 units to the right and four units up. Then put a dot in that spot.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can yu show me
