we know that due to gravitational pull of moon tides are there is there is any effect of this pull on air if yes then why it can,t b observed

OpenStudy (ghazi):

i believe there is no effect of moon's gravitational pull on air...since that gravitational pull is way too weak to make effect on such a small particle...and the common effect like air temperature and trade winds are far more effective

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont believe there is any effect of the moon's gravitational pull on air.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since gravitational force is an infiniteforce, it has effects on everything, but this effect is wayyy to smal for anyone to notice. As far as air is concerned, even though if gravitational pull from moon had any effect on it, the effect would be outweighed by other factors like winds.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, gravity acts on any object with mass. Water has higher density that air, and thus has a higher mass per unit volume than air.
