What's a "bollazo" or "bolazo" in peninsular Spanish?
It depends where is used, it can mean: very sexy or atractive: ¡Mira qué bollazo pasó por aquí! Or a big cupcake. It depends. Here in Mexico can be understood like "someone smokin' hot" but it sounds weird, though.
When they say "peninsular Spanish" are referring to Spanish from Spain. The definitions I found were not very clear as being specifically that type of Spanish, but I found this online translated as: Bolazo 1. Violent blow with a bowl. (m) 2. (Cono Sur) silly remark, piece of nonsense (disparate); false news; fib, lie; mistake, error. (m) Mandarse un bolazo -> to put one's foot in it (quoted from spanishdict.com)
Thanks for the reply. Even in my own language I didn't know what Bolazo means
I excluded all the Mexican definitions, though I did not find yours among them.
Thanks a lot !
